|Descrizione||Locked in a tight playoff race, the Stockton Ports won a key game against the Modesto Nuts, 5 1, on Tuesday. Dalton Sawyer, back from a brief trip to the disabled list, threw five shutout innings to earn the win.
Sawyer allowed http://www.athleticsfanaticsjersey.com/sean-doolittle-jersey-c-2.html only two hits over his five frames. He struck out four. Evan Manarino allowed a run in two innings and Kyle Friedrichs threw two scoreless innings to close out the win.
The Ports jumped out to an early lead when Eli White 4 homered to lead off the first inning. One out later, Brett Siddall 19 and Seth Brown 23 went back to back to give the Ports a 3 0 lead. The Ports added two more runs in the third and the pitchers took it the rest of the way.

Brown had two hits, as did Richie Martin and Branden Cogswell. Martin also walked. He has an eight game hitting streak and he is batting .282 since being sent down to Stockton.
— Grant Holmes and the Midland RockHounds fell to the Corpus Christi Hooks, 5 1, in a game that featured rehabbing MLBers Tony Sipp, Will Harris, Michael Feliz and Evan Gattis suiting up on the Hooks’ side. Holmes went six innings and he allowed just five hits and two walks, but two of the five hits were homers and he was charged with five runs allowed. He struck out eight. B.J. Boyd and J.P. Sportman each had two hit games, but Midland managed just six hits as a team. Boyd is now batting .329 on the season, tops in the Texas League. One of Sportman’s hits was a solo homer, his 12th longball of the season. Sipp, Harris and Feliz each pitched a scoreless inning to start the game. Gattis went 0 1 with two walks.
— Matt Milburn didn’t allow his first base runner until the fourth inning, but he wound up the losing pitcher in the Beloit Snappers’ 4 1 loss to the Quad Cities River Bandits. Milburn allowed a run on three hits in six innings. He struck out eight and walked only one. — Angello Infante was brilliant once again in the DSL Athletics’ 3 0 win over the DSL Braves. Infante lowered his ERA to 1.06 with six shutout innings. He didn’t walk a batter, allowed just four hits and he struck out five. Marcelo Hernandez allowed only one hit by pitch over three frames. He struck out three and lowered his ERA to 1.44. Iraj Serrano had two doubles, a single and a walk and he scored all three of the A’s runs. Rafioby Urena had two hits and a walk and Jordan Diaz had three hits. George Bell had a two hit game and he is batting .240 over his last 10 games.
